Crossroads Cinema Summer Movie Series at Camp North End – Film lovers rejoice! Come out for the free summer movie showings of classic films from the 80’s and 90’s! Held every Thursday at 8:30 p.m. from now through the end of August, this event is free, and you can bring your own blankets and lawn chairs. No outside food but food and beverages are available on-site.
Levine Museum of the New South – Keep learning all summer long at this history museum. The Levine Museum of the New South features exhibits and discussions about current and past events to build community.
The Optimist Hall – This food hall offers an array of eateries is open daily. Cuisines include American, Asian, Ethiopian, Latin, Mexican, and sweets. You can also find raw juices, pet food and supplies, as well as a plant store here and so much more!
Romare Bearden Park – Set in the heart of Uptown this public park is set amongst 5.4 acres. This is a great place for a family outing and includes two gardens, a play area, green field, and courtyard. You can also enjoy cultural and fitness arts programs throughout the summer.
South End Farmers Market – Shop and support local craftsman, farmers, food artisans, and more at South End Farmers Market. The market runs every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There are bathrooms available for patrons, a parking lot, and it is dog friendly!
