4 Simple Steps To Owning A Vista Home

1
Getting Started
Getting To Know Each Other

Meet with our sales associates to learn about the various paths to owning a Vista Home. We’ll ask you about your wants and needs of your new home. We will go over land/lot plans, floorplans and other details before moving forward to Step 2.

Finding Land

If you don’t have land yet, no problem! We start out by giving out a “Promise to Build” agreement, which will require a deposit. If we find land for you, and you decide to build with us, the “Promise to Build” money goes towards your deposit. If we don’t find land for you, then the “Promise to Build” money will be returned to you.

2
CHOOSING FLOORPLAN & Selections
Contract & Design Studio

From here, you’ll choose a floorplan of your choice, sign a contract and put down a deposit on your new home. Once that part is complete, the fun part is designing! We have various options to choose from – flooring, countertops, cabinets, appliances, lighting, home entertainment and more. Our design team will help you throughout the process.

Option Finalization

All options and upgrades will be finalized three weeks from contract. This time will ensure we have enough time to review everything before giving the “build instructions” to our Vista Homes team.

3
Construction Begins
Pre-construction Orientation

You’ll meet with your sales associate and project manager responsible for supervising the construction of your home to review your floorplan, home site and optional features to ensure your construction documents are correct and good to go.

New Home Orientation

It’s built! Your project manager will provide a thorough introduction and orientation of your new home, ensuring that you understand all the optional features.

Pre-Drywall Orientation

Your project manager will walk you through your home at frame stage and review the placement of optional features to ensure everything you selected has been installed and correctly located. This is also an opportunity for you to view the quality features inside the walls of your new home.

4
Move In
Handing Over The Keys

After we’ve made sure everything is up to our standards and all the final touches have been made, we’ll change the locks and hand over the keys! Welcome to your new Vista Home!

Customer Care

We want your home to be a lasting source of pride and enjoyment for you and your family. As a Vista Homes homeowner, you’ll have a Quality Builders Warranty Corporation (OBWC) 10-year home warranty, giving you access to prompt and friendly service to address any warranty issues that may arise.
