4 Simple Steps To Owning A Vista Home

1
Getting Started
Getting To Know Each Other

Your first step is a visit to our office to talk about the various paths to owning a Vista home.

As you chat with your sales associate, we’ll ask you about what you want and need in your new home, and start to figure out your next steps. If you have land, and a pretty good idea of which floorplan you want, then you’ll move on to Step 2.

Need Help Finding Land?

If you don’t have land, no problem! We can help with that. First we’ll give you a “Promise To Build”

agreement, which requires a deposit. If we find land for you, and you decide to build with us, the “Promise to Build” money goes towards your deposit. If we don’t find land for you, then the “Promise to Build” money will be returned to you.

2
CHOOSING FLOORPLAN & Selections
Floorplan & Contract

Now, you’ll finalize your floorplan choice, sign a contract, and put down a deposit on your new home. Next stop… selections!

Option Finalization

You will finalize all options and upgrades within three weeks from contract. This ensures we have enough time to review everything before giving the “build instructions” to our Vista Homes team.

Design Studio

This is the fun part! Your design appointment will include personal assistance in selecting flooring, counter tops, cabinets, appliances, lighting, home entertainment, and more. We have hundreds of options to choose from, and our design team will make it easy and exciting.

3
Construction Begins
Pre-Start Orientation

You’ll meet with your sales associate and the project manager responsible for supervising the construction of your home. Together, you’ll review your floor plan, home site, and optional features to ensure that our construction documents are good to go.

Pre-Closing Orientation

It’s built! Your project manager will provide a thorough introduction and orientation of your new home, ensuring that you understand all the optional features.

Pre-Drywall Orientation

Your project manager will walk you through your home at frame stage, and review the placement of optional features to ensure everything you selected has been installed and correctly located. This is also an opportunity for you to view the quality features inside the walls of your new home.

4
Move In
Handing Over The Keys

After we’ve made sure everything is up to our standards, and all the final touches have been made, we’ll change the locks and hand over the keys! Welcome to your new Vista home!

Customer Care

As a Vista Homes homeowner, you will have a Quality Builders Warranty Corporation (OBWC) 10-year home warranty, giving you access to prompt and friendly service to address any warranty items that need attention. We want your home to be a lasting source of pride and enjoyment for you and your family.
